We want every client to be satisfied with our work. If something isn't right, we'll do our best to make it right — and if we can't, we'll honour a fair refund within the terms below.

1 Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all services and products offered by Promota India, including website development, social media marketing, AI agents, SEO, and paid advertising management.

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase or subscription start, subject to the conditions outlined below. All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness for both parties.

2 Refund Eligibility

A refund may be requested if:

  • The request is made within 14 days of the original purchase or subscription date
  • The service has not been substantially delivered or work has not significantly progressed
  • There is a technical failure on our end that prevents service delivery and cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe
  • A duplicate payment was made in error

Refunds may be full or partial depending on how much work has already been completed at the time of the request. We assess each case fairly and transparently.

3 One-Time Services

For one-time services such as website development, landing page design, or social media setup:

  • Before work begins: Full refund of the advance payment, minus any transaction fees charged by Stripe.
  • Work in progress (within 14 days): Partial refund based on the percentage of work remaining. For example, if 40% of the project is complete, you are entitled to a refund of up to 60% of the total amount paid.
  • After delivery / post-14 days: No refund once final files or access have been delivered and accepted.

"Work in progress" is determined by internal project logs, milestone records, and communication history.

4 Subscriptions

Monthly Subscriptions:

  • If you cancel within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, you are eligible for a full refund of your first month's payment.
  • Cancellations after 14 days will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No prorated refund will be issued for the remaining days in the cycle.
  • Renewals (second month onwards) are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be considered if there was a technical issue that made the service unusable.

Yearly Subscriptions:

  • A full refund is available within 14 days of payment, provided the service has not been significantly used.
  • After 14 days, a prorated refund may be issued at our discretion, covering unused months minus any applicable setup or processing fees.

5 Non-Refundable Services

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Custom-built tools & software — Any software built specifically to your requirements. Once development has started, the cost incurred is non-refundable as the work is bespoke and cannot be reused.
  • Paid advertising spend — Ad budgets transferred to Meta or Google Ads are spent in real-time and cannot be recovered. Our management fee may be partially refunded if applicable.
  • Completed and delivered work — Once final deliverables have been sent, reviewed, or published, no refund will be issued.
  • Domain registration & third-party tool costs — Any third-party fees paid on your behalf (hosting, domain names, stock images, software licences) are non-refundable.
  • Rush/priority fees — Additional charges for expedited delivery are non-refundable regardless of outcome.

6 How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

  • Email us at hello@promota.in with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Name / Business Name]"
  • Include your invoice number or transaction ID, the service name, and the reason for your request
  • Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
  • We may ask for additional information or offer a resolution (fix, credit, or alternative) before processing a refund
  • Once approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method

We encourage you to reach out before raising a dispute with your bank or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

7 Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. The time it takes for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer — typically 3–10 business days after we initiate the refund via Stripe.

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated from our end.
